Terms of service
The agreement between you and us about using Loopr. We've tried to keep it readable.
1. This agreement
These terms are a contract between you and the developer of Loopr ("Loopr", "we", "us"). By downloading, signing into or using the Loopr app you accept them. If you don't accept them, don't use the app.
Our privacy policy forms part of these terms.
2. What Loopr is
Loopr is a planning tool. It lets you assemble a list of stops, calculates a route through them, suggests an efficient order, estimates distances and arrival times, and keeps track of which stop you are on.
Loopr is not a navigation app. It does not give turn-by-turn directions. When you tap Directions, Loopr hands a single destination to Apple Maps or Google Maps, and that app takes over. Your use of those apps is governed by Apple's or Google's terms, not ours.
3. Estimates, and what they are worth
Distances, durations and arrival times shown in Loopr are estimates. They are not guarantees, commitments, or a basis on which to promise a delivery window to anyone else.
Concretely, and by design:
- Estimates do not model traffic. They are based on road speeds, not conditions.
- They do not know about opening hours, closures, roadworks, weather or access restrictions.
- Time at each stop is one figure applied to every stop, not a per-stop estimate.
- A finish time you set is a target the plan is measured against. It is not a deadline the optimizer honours, and it cannot reorder your stops.
- Route and address data come from third parties and may be incomplete or out of date.
- Optimization finds a good order, and for larger routes an approximate rather than provably optimal one.
Drive safely and lawfully. Do not operate Loopr while driving. Obey road signs, traffic law and your own judgement over anything the app tells you — including when a suggested route is unsuitable for your vehicle. You are solely responsible for how you drive and for complying with any rules that apply to your work.
4. Your account
Using Loopr requires signing in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping that account secure and for activity that happens under it. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and at least 13.
You may stop using Loopr and delete your account at any time — see also how to delete your data.
5. Loopr Pro
Loopr is free to use. A Loopr Pro subscription lifts two limits and unlocks one feature:
| Feature | Free | Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Stops per route | Up to 10 | Up to 100 |
| Saved routes | Up to 3 | Unlimited |
| Scan a package to add a stop | — | Included |
| Optimization, reordering, navigation hand-off | Included | Included |
Billing
- Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, not by us directly. Their terms govern the transaction.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- Cancel through the store — Settings → your name → Subscriptions on iOS, or the Play Store's Subscriptions page on Android. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We cannot issue them on your behalf, though we're happy to help you ask.
- Prices vary by country and may change. We'll tell you before a change affects a renewal, and you can cancel if you'd rather not continue.
- If a subscription lapses, Loopr reverts to the free tier. Your saved routes stay on your device; you may not be able to create new ones past the free limit until you're back under it.
Where a statutory right of withdrawal or cooling-off period applies to you, nothing here removes it.
6. Acceptable use
Don't:
- use Loopr for anything unlawful, or to plan or carry out anything that harms others
- reverse-engineer, decompile or tamper with the app, except where law expressly permits it
- automate, scrape or bulk-query the app or the services behind it, or work around the stop and route limits
- resell, sublicense or redistribute Loopr, or pass off its output as another product
- upload or enter content you have no right to use
The routing and geocoding services Loopr relies on are shared public infrastructure. Overusing them degrades the app for everyone, so we may rate-limit, suspend or terminate accounts that abuse them.
7. Third-party services
Loopr depends on services we do not control: OpenStreetMap's Nominatim for address search, OSRM for routing, Firebase for sign-in and sync, and Apple Maps or Google Maps for display and navigation. Several are free, publicly operated infrastructure with no service-level guarantee.
If one of them is slow, unavailable, or returns something wrong, parts of Loopr will be too. We are not responsible for those services, and their availability is not something we can promise.
Map and address data are © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Loopr working and improving, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may add, change, or remove features; suspend the service for maintenance; or discontinue it. If we discontinue Loopr entirely we'll give reasonable notice and, where a paid subscription is affected, handle it fairly.
9. Ownership
Loopr, its name, its logo, its design and its code are ours and remain ours. These terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for as long as you comply with them.
Your routes are yours. The stops, names and lists you create belong to you. We claim no ownership of them and use them only to run the service for you, as described in the privacy policy.
10. Termination
You may stop using Loopr at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, or if we're required to by law. On termination, your licence ends; provisions that by their nature should survive — ownership, disclaimers, limits of liability — do.
11. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent the law allows, Loopr is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any estimate, route or address it produces is accurate or suitable for your purposes.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost business, lost time, missed deliveries, fuel costs, or lost or corrupted data, arising out of your use of Loopr.
Our total liability for all claims relating to Loopr is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep every statutory right your country gives you, and these limits apply only so far as that law permits.
13. If you got Loopr from the App Store
This agreement is between you and us, not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support for Loopr and is not responsible for any claim relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll update the date at the top and give notice in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Loopr after that means you accept the new terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions, and the courts of the Dominican Republic have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may bring proceedings in the courts of their own country of residence where local law gives them that right.
