A planner, not another navigator.
Turn-by-turn apps are very good at getting you to one place. Loopr's job is the other one — working out the order of the twenty places, and keeping track of where you are in them.
Add stops however you have them.
Search an address, long-press anywhere on the map to drop a pin, or start from wherever you're standing. Every stop lands in a list you can drag into any order you like.

Optimize hands your stops to a travelling-salesman solver and rewrites the list as the shortest drive through all of them. It tells you exactly how much it saved — and it can always be taken back.

Silently rewriting a list someone arranged by hand is a destructive act, so it is reversible.
Loops, one-ways, and a finish time to aim at.
Tell Loopr where the trip begins and how it ends and the solver is told the same thing. Add a start time and every arrival estimate moves with it; add a target finish and Loopr reports whether the plan makes it.

- No ads, no trackers There is no advertising SDK and no analytics SDK in the app. There is nothing to opt out of.
- No background location Loopr reads your position only while you're using it, and only when you ask it to.

Before you ask.
Does Loopr replace Google Maps or Apple Maps?
No — it works with them. Loopr plans the order of your stops and keeps track of where you are in the list. When it's time to actually drive a leg, it hands that one destination to Apple Maps or Google Maps, which do the turn-by-turn far better than a small app ever could.
You choose which one in Settings, or have Loopr ask each time.
How many stops can it handle?
Up to 100 on Pro, 10 on the free tier. The optimizer solves routes of about ten waypoints exactly; beyond that it switches to a heuristic, so a very long route gets a good order rather than a provably perfect one.
Which countries does it work in?
Anywhere OpenStreetMap has road data, which is most of the world. By default address search is limited to the country your phone is in — place names repeat across continents, and a day of deliveries only happens in one country. You can switch that off in Settings when you're planning across a border.
Do the arrival times account for traffic?
No, and we'd rather say so than imply otherwise. Estimates are based on road speeds, plus the time you tell Loopr you spend at each stop. They assume you set off at your start time and drive without interruption — they don't model traffic, opening hours, or a queue at the loading bay.
Once a route is running, estimates re-anchor to the clock on every tick, so if you fall behind the numbers say so instead of quietly staying optimistic.
Does it work without a signal?
Partly. Your stops and saved routes are stored on the phone, so everything you've already planned stays available. Searching for a new address and solving a new route both need a connection, because those run against mapping services.
Do I have to make an account?
You sign in with Apple or Google — no password to invent, no form to fill in. That's what lets your routes and settings survive a reinstall and follow you to a second phone.
Is it the same app on iPhone and Android?
Yes, feature for feature. The maps underneath differ — Apple Maps on iOS, Google Maps on Android — and Sign in with Apple only appears on iOS, where it exists.
